Essential academic skills
This study day is aimed at all trainees in Obstetrics and Gynaecology wishing to develop their basic academic skills. The course will cover topics ranging from logbook subjects such as critical appraisal skills and an overview of basic statistics, to advice on developing a research idea and preparing a prize winning poster or award winning presentation. Clinical academics will provide an insight into the pros and cons of an academic career and how best to get involved in research.
