You, Me and O&G
Have you heard the word 'wellbeing' so many times you've forgotten what it means? Is it pandemic freebies? A snatched hour of yoga or occasional attempts to be mindful? Is it annual leave? Is it even compatible with working in O&G? Join us for a day and be inspired to think about what threatens our wellbeing at work and think about what we can do both individually and together to change that experience (and tackle some of those non-clinical CiPs along the way). Hear how being happy and relaxed makes us more successful. The day will explore themes around personal values, external and internal stressors and imposter syndrome. With reference to the new RCOG workplace behaviours toolkit, we'll discuss how undermining or bullying arise and how to tackle it, both as the accuser or as an accused. There will also be space to reflect on how we cope when things go wrong. Along the way we hope to inspire you with some tales of those who've found their own way. At the end of this day we hope you'll feel there's much more to O&G than a race to CCT.
